Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, cook, and present meals according to established recipes and standards
  • Experiment with cuisines, flavors, and cooking methods while ensuring consistency
  • Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen and prep areas
  • Work collaboratively with team members to meet meal service timelines
  • Adhere to production and safety procedures

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience as a cook or in a related role is required
  • Knowledge of food preparation principles, cooking methods, and food safety regulations
  • Ability to obtain food safety certification
  • Strong math, counting, and portioning skills
  • Effective communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including lifting, bending, standing, pushing, and pulling
  • Must be able to wear appropriate uniform and PPE

Requirements:

  • Background Check: 7-year check including National & County Criminal, Address History, SSN Check, Sex Offender Search, and Global Watchlist
  • Wisconsin Caregiver Background Check
  • Fingerprinting clearance required
